For Thaicom, we designed a crop-health app that lets farmers check their fields using drone data. The interface turns dense agricultural readings into clear insights, so farmers can track conditions and spot trouble early. The design keeps drone analytics usable for every farmer, whatever their technical background.
Thaicom wanted a web app that lets farmers judge the health of their crops using drone technology and footage — turning what a drone sees over a field into something a grower can act on. Our brief was the interface: make it genuinely easy to use.
That's harder than it sounds. Drone and agricultural data is dense, and the people using it are farmers, not analysts. The design had to make sense to someone whatever their technical background, on the device they actually have to hand.
We kept the design clean and professional: clear layouts, straightforward menus, and graphic icons that carry meaning at a glance. The goal was an interface a farmer can read without a manual, that still looks like a serious tool.
The core job was translation — taking dense crop and drone data and presenting it as clear insights a grower can use to track conditions and catch trouble early. Efficient to use, and easy to look at.
The result is a crop-health app that puts drone analytics within reach of any farmer, whatever their technical background — dense field data turned into plain, early warnings they can act on. Part of our ongoing UI/UX work for Thaicom.
