For Thaicom, we built a web platform that measures carbon storage across Thailand's forest sector. It turns heavy environmental data into visualizations people can read at a glance, so stakeholders can assess and track carbon sequestration by forest type instead of digging through spreadsheets.
Thaicom came to us to build a platform for their forest carbon storage assessment project, and came with almost no design direction — just the research content and basic page requirements like login and registration. The challenge was to establish a clear visual identity from scratch that could carry heavy environmental data without losing people.
Underneath it was a translation problem: complex scientific research about carbon sequestration across Thailand's forests had to become an accessible digital platform that stakeholders could actually read and use.
With only research content and basic page requirements to start from, we developed a full visual direction: a nature-inspired system with a fresh, environmental palette, and imagery chosen to capture Thailand's forest landscapes. Scientific credibility, but approachable.
We designed custom illustrations and infographics to explain carbon-storage concepts, and organised dense technical research into clear, digestible sections — turning spreadsheets of environmental data into visualisations stakeholders can read at a glance, by forest type.
We designed intuitive interfaces for the parts a platform actually needs — user authentication, registration, and data presentation — on a cohesive design system built to scale as the project's content grows.
The finished platform balances scientific credibility with real usability: heavy forest-carbon data made approachable through a clear visual identity, custom graphics, and structured content, so stakeholders can assess and track carbon sequestration by forest type instead of digging through research.
