The Challenge

Thaicom approached us to create a website for their forest carbon storage assessment project with minimal design direction. The main challenge was establishing a clear visual identity that would effectively communicate environmental data while maintaining a user-friendly approach. We needed to translate complex scientific research into an accessible digital platform, with only content and basic page requirements as our starting point.

Our Approach

Our ProcessStarting with just the research content and basic page requirements (login, registration, etc.), we developed a comprehensive visual direction for the platform. The process involved: Creating a nature-inspired visual system with a fresh, environmental color palette Designing custom illustrations and infographics to explain carbon storage concepts Carefully selecting imagery that captures Thailand's forest landscapes Developing intuitive interfaces for user authentication and data presentation Organizing technical research content into clear, digestible sections Building a cohesive design system that could scale with future content The final design successfully balances scientific credibility with visual appeal, making forest carbon data more approachable through thoughtful UI design and custom graphics.
