Graphio Creative Studio collaborated with Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Political Science to embark on an innovative journey to enhance the educational experience within their Global Citizenship course. This endeavor took place three years ago, and we recently had the privilege of revisiting this project, elevating its quality to new heights.

This documentary is part of Chiang Mai University's "Introduction to Politics" series and follows Professor Thanet and his students as they delve into the rich history of Thai-Lanna at Wat Suan Dok, a historical temple in Chiang Mai. The series aims to provide a deeper understanding of the region's past through immersive exploration.

Introduction to Politics is an extensive course comprising eight chapters and over 24 hours of video content. We had the pleasure of working with the course's teachers, who visited our studio to film in front of our green screen backdrop.

Throughout the production process, we focused on creating engaging and insightful content that would help students better understand the material. To this end, we incorporated animations and other interactive elements to encourage student engagement.

We found the collaboration with the teachers to be enjoyable and rewarding, and we are proud of the final product – a comprehensive and engaging course that we hope will benefit students in their studies.

Our team was tasked with producing a series that explores the ways in which people demonstrate resilience in the face of hardship. To bring this story to life, we utilized a range of videography techniques and equipment, including the Canon R5 in 4K and a Blackmagic Cinema Camera.

The resulting series offers a powerful and inspiring look at the strength and determination of individuals as they overcome challenges and adversity. By highlighting the ways in which people find the courage to persevere, we hope to provide a message of hope and encouragement to others who may be facing similar struggles.

LE Resilience Series

Fire - Chiang Mai: Smoge and Dust was a passion project for our team, rather than a commissioned work for a client. We were motivated to create this film to raise awareness about a problem we have been experiencing in Chiang Mai for over a decade - the recurring issue of smog and dust caused by fires. Despite the challenge of creating a short film about this issue during the wet season, we were able to successfully tell Chiang Mai's story through arranged interviews, carefully crafted storyboards, and skilled videography and editing.

Our efforts were recognized at the CCCL Film Festival, where the film was selected to premiere among over 200 submissions and awarded fourth place. We are proud of the impact this project has had and hope it will continue to raise awareness about this important issue.

Fire: Chiang Mai Smoge and Dust documentary

Graphio Creative Studio was engaged by Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Political Science to produce a series of videos for the Global Citizenship course. The series consisted of over 300 hours of video recording and editing, covering a wide range of topics related to global citizenship. The videos were intended for use in the university's online learning platform and were designed to engage and inform students about the complex issues surrounding global citizenship. The project required a high level of coordination and attention to detail, as well as a deep understanding of the subject matter and the needs of the target audience. The final product was well received by students and faculty alike, and contributed to the overall success of the course.

For this three-episode series, we aimed to highlight the struggles, creativity, and helpfulness of students through their own perspectives and experiences. To bring this story to life, we filmed on location and at our own green screen studio using a Canon R5 in 4K and a Blackmagic Cinema Camera.

The resulting series offers a unique and intimate look at the challenges and triumphs of students, as well as their ideas for improvement and willingness to support their peers. By utilizing high-quality equipment and shooting on location and in the studio, we were able to capture authentic and engaging footage that effectively conveyed the intended message.
